Taste is so so. Interior, price are good. I don’t understand why many people said the beef is so delicious.

A nice place to have a cheap steak but food was nothing special. Also there is a beautiful beach behind the restaurant that is a must-place you should visit.

Very good Japanese food place. We took meat set, which was quite good. Coffee was fantastic! (According to waiter it was Key Coffee Regular). In the end they served very nice home made custard “pie”, which was super fresh and not very sugary, perfect! Interior was nice and cozy, waiting time was about 8-10 minutes

Service and environment make this review 3 stars. Not sure what kind of meat I was served but it was most definitely not filet mignon. Ordered medium rare and was served rare. Meat was a very cheap slimy texture. Prices were ok. Best part about the establishment was the Coffee and beautiful beach behind the restraunt.

Great experience! Was a little confused at first, because this was my first spot for dining out in a foregin country. All the employees did the best they could to help me and my party to get everything we wanted. The food is all fantastic!!!!

Long wai, restaurant usually stops taking names around 7~8pm so go early

Their steaks are really good and juicy. Also try their half lobster which is not that good, meat kinda dry and a bit tough (maybe overcooked).

A must try restaurant in Okinawa. Historic restaurant since 1971 and their steak is great! Lobster was a bit overcooked but still delicious.**Their toast is highly recommended**Worth to go there.

Good steak with reasonable price. The steaks comes with rice/bread and drinks. Really good price for the food. And yes, need to wait for a while but honestly, still acceptable. However, this shop accepts cash only... Strongly recommended they could accept credit cards, you know, cash only is not that convenience, especially for travelers and large groups.

Nice steaks with loads of sides (and carbs-- spaghetti, potato wedges, and toast or rice. Get the toast). Be warned: cash only.

Nice establishment. English speaking wait staff. Fairly cut-and-dry steak and lobster menu. Wine, tea, and coffee for drink options. My steak was tender and delicious. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her diverse options included in the lunch set. Kids were pleased with their meals as well.

Steak is tender, food presentation is appealing, come with pasta which was cooked just the right time, that is a pleasant surprise. The decoration and staff services are both excellent and so is the price. I would like to go there again on my next visit to Okinawa.

I just came into this restaurant as the burger place named Captain Kangaroo might be too crowded to have a seat as soon as possible. This place was also crowded with hungry people, I could have a seat at the counter as I was alone. The steak was awesome as other people said. I had a medium well-done tenderloin(180g) with a toast. They served a cream soup and cabbage salad with a little bit of corn. The soup and coffee were also excellent! Coffee after the meal, it was perfect. It was shining with its crema. If you have never tried Okinawan Steak, this place would be the best place to try it. 아무 기대 없이 들어가서 최고의 스테이크를 맛보고 나왔다.커피의 크레마는 환상적이었다.

The steak was cooked properly and the sides that came with it were all filled to compliment. The spaghetti was good, the potato wedges were also good. The ice tea was a great choice of beverage for the meal.

A good place to taste Okinawan steak served on a grill. It follows the Japanese concept of 'Western dish', providing soup and toast with a set of meal. Both sirloin and fillet minion were nice but I prefered fillet minion which was more tender and tasty. You should expect a long queue and very limited parking space. There is a beach with the great sunset right in front of the restaurant.

My 300g filet steak was pretty amazing: soft and juicy, perfectly cooked, great flavor with nothing added but salt and pepper. Unbelievably reasonable prices. At-least-it’s-better-than-Starbucks coffee (which nevertheless is a perfect match for their pies). Longish queues. Oh and they don’t accept cards, so bring your yen. Or silver. Or gold dust. Or seashells. Doesn’t say they don’t accept these so worth a shot.

Came here on a whim. The menu was small, like most are here. The steak was cooked well, though poorly seasoned. The salad is iceburg lettuce and corn. They were out of pie...

One of my friends told me that this place is famous for pies. I stopped here to buy them. Reasonable price Y80/EA if my memory is correct, they have apple, blueberry, cream cheese and some more. They taste good but I'm not a fan of dough. It's a pie but dough is just like tarte.

No reservation allowed. Was told need to wait for about 40 min but managed to get seat of 4 after 25 min wait. Lobster is fresh and steak is tender.

What a great place to visit! For me the fillet mignon steak with medium rare was juicy. The taste explains why there are so many customers.

We really enjoyed our experience at Restaurant Flipper. The food was great with friendly service. Most of us got the surf & turf (filet) and each steak was cooked exactly as ordered. There was no dessert offered even though we asked multiple times for a dessert menu. Yes, the pies were sold out (again) which is apparently quite common, so apparently the restaurant has nothing else to offer for dessert once the pies are gone. A real treasure of Restaurant Flipper is the secluded beach just behind the parking lot. Definitely use your wait time to take the few steps down and then back up to the scenic, beautiful beach!
